A: There are many variables to take into account – the total number of web files, the physical size of the database, the complexity of the web site itself and the present workload of our website migration professionals, etc. That being said, we do try to carry out all website migrations in a 48–hour window. Smaller–sized sites are migrated much faster – usually in less than 24 hours.

A: Yup. We will need to have the name of the web site that you’d like us to migrate. We’ll also require a way to access your current web hosting account so that we can get the content pertaining to your website.

A: Before we can begin the transfer of your hosting account, you must already have an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to share pretty much the same information you have provided to your present hosting provider. We also have a very rigid Privacy Policy, which describes how delicate info is dealt with.

A: Nah. Your site will continue to be visible online during the migration. Once everything is completed on our end, we will let you know so that you can preview it and check for any problems. If everything is okay, all you will have to do is edit your domain name’s DNS resource records.

A: No. We will never get in touch with your web hosting provider about anything. They won’t be aware of the website migration either.

A: We can transfer your site from any web hosting provider or any Linux–driven hosting platform so long as we can gain access to the Control Panel and there is FTP access available.The only websites that we are unable to transfer are the ones based on closed–source software apps such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
